Six Books You NEED to Read Sis

Back in January, I set out to read six book by the end of March. Now that's a lot of reading for someone who reads and researches for a living BUT I wanted to find new methods of self development.

Part of making space for new things in your life is using resources to help you develop and manifest what you've never had before. Personal development books can help with a range of areas in your life.

I chose six books to set the tone for what I wanted to improve on this year: spirituality, finances, and mental wellness.

Spirituality

📚 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝟓𝟐 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 by Kimberly D. Moore is a beautifully illustrated bible study journal to uplift & encourage the encourager- a role women typically take for everyone in their lives. It's been on bestsellers lists for months!!

Finances

📚𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡 by Lois p. Frankel is an amazing book for female financial empowerment. It covers commons mistakes we make that keep up from the bag 🤑🤑

📚𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞 by Meg Jay talks about making the most of your 20s and as I spend my last few years in my 20s I want to make sure that I followed the excellent advice in this book! 👵🏾

Mental Wellness & Relationships

📚𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 by Rupi Kaur is a favorite that I will be rereading. It helped me deal with ending narcissistic abuse and I'm hoping to find new meaning now that I'm in a different stage of life☘️

📚𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐬 by David B Feldman & Lee Kravetz is an in-depth study about how suffering and success are linked. Very very interesting read!

📚𝟏𝟎𝟏 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 by H.Norman Wright is a book I'm using to make sure I'm prepared for my next major step relationship-wise. Y'all NEED this book. It's very helpful to determine what you want and need in a partnership.

Check these books out and let me know what you think. Oh and if you have any book suggestions for me, please leave them in the comments. I'm planning out my reading for the next 3 months so I can keep this going!
